Mulberry Jam

Pakistan mulberries are an incredible fruit, a sweet taste with flavors of raspberry, vanilla, fig and blackberry! The exotic fruits of the Pakistan variety are purple-black and make a very dark amazing jam. Delicious on yogurt and ice cream, stirred into hot cereal as well as toast.

Pakistan mulberries were introduced to the United States in 1986. They have deep purple-black fruit about 3.5 inches long with the contours of a blackberry. Mulberries are the first fruit to ripen in our orchard and have a very short season of just a couple of weeks.
